This weekend, my husband and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary with a staycation! Part of our bucket list is to explore our city more, so a staycation seemed perfect. Baby spent the night with her grandparents, while we spent the night at a local resort & casino. We had an a-mazing time! We celebrated by lounging in the warm weather, gambling the night away and then attending a concert.
.
Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers is one of our favorite bands and they were performing across the street. Along with two of our great friends, we partied with Roger Clyne and thousands of fans dressed in sombrero’s! Sombrero’s were the theme of the night, and it’s a good thing we had one from our Halloween costume a few years back (seen here).

I feel rejuvenated and so happy to have spent a wonderful night out with some amazing friends. Ryan and I ended the night with calorie-free, greasy pizza and three games of Keno. We won a total of $8 on our gambling adventure. ha! Here’s some photos of the night, I wish I took more – but I was having so much fun, I failed to capture it all on film.
The weather was perfect the entire day!

Getting ready!
Sombrero. Check!
We met up with Hillary and Dan for dinner and mojitos (kinda).
Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers put on a great show.
The concert was at a baseball stadium, so there was plenty of room for all of these crazy hats. They played our favorite song, “Green & Dumb” and I cried.
I’m such a sucker for these things.
One day I’m going to do a post on all my favorite Ryan and Dan photos.
This is their signature pose.
Sombrero’s … everywhere!
It was a full moon, so I texted my mom to have my dad go outside to view the moon. You can read all about why my dad I do that here.
.As Roger would say, “Here’s to life!”
I have my husband to thank for this amazing night out, and my amazing life.
