Every day is special with two little kids in tow. But, the holidays … those are amplified. We get to make new traditions and memories with every year. This year, we decided to go find our own Christmas tree. So, away we went to the mountain to play in the snow and find the perfect tree to call our own.
Kelsey had her school holiday party today. It was our job to supply 2 dozen unfrosted store-bought cookies (with no peanuts) for her class to decorate. Try finding unfrosted cookies during the holidays. I dare you.
We went to four grocery stores. Four! Finally, we went back to store #1 and asked someone behind the counter to quickly whip up 2 dozen unfrosted, sugar cookies. But, look at how cute that face is! I could just eat her up (and that cookie too).
Create and view a personalized video message from Santa to your child. It’s free and so much fun! I just created Kelsey’s video message from Santa and I look forward to sharing it with her tonight.
Best of all, you can tell Santa what you want him to emphasize about your child’s behavior. For example, Santa made sure to mention that Kelsey needs to be “nice to all of her friends”. (She’s been pushing her friends at school). Tisk, tisk, child.
Make your free Santa video here and let me know what you think!
Oprah’s Favorite Things returns to T.V. this year! It will be a two-hour special event on the OWN network on Sunday, November 18th. I love the list that she comes out with every year and I find myself buying at least one thing from her list. Make sure you tune in! Get a sneak peek of Oprah’s Favorite Things 2012!
I’m clearly so excited to see her list and to see some of this.
Sabrina, or “beena” as Kelsey says, came to visit us over Christmas. She’s my brother’s girlfriend – and became quite a good friend of Kelsey’s too. Sabrina – thanks for visiting us, for making the holidays extra special and for staying up late with me each night!
