Thanksgiving with the Cousins

My in-laws put on a fabulous Thanksgiving and I’m STUFFED! I literally had three pieces of pie. Small pieces, but still … three!! And now, I’m just going through a few photos that we took right before dinner tonight. I love seeing all of these cousins in their element. It’s pretty cool to just kick back and watch them play.

We snapped this photo right before we left for the night. If I’m learning anything it’s that you take a photo before you leave for the evening (if you want one of you all together) because once you’re out the door, you’ll forget / get busy / get distracted / forget your camera / or no one will care to stop and pose for you. Ahem … Kelsey.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am so thankful for the jogger who ran by and asked if she could take our photo (yes, please!). From my family to yours, have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy your weekend. xo

Thanksgiving 2013

Colton’s first Thanksgiving was a hit! He ate mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and played with the big kids out in the lawn. I had so many moments where I just sat back and gave thanks. Thanks for my family. Our health. And all of the new little kids that surround us. God is good.

Our last Thanksgiving before Colton arrives

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, courtesy of my parents. I was expecting to go into labor any moment, so we didn’t stray too far from home. Needless to say, Colton isn’t here yet. We are on pins and needles awaiting his arrival. Sweet potatoes, green beans, turkey, stuffing, pumpkin & pecan pie (my favorite) … we had it all yesterday.

Remember Ryan this time last year? He’s out there doing it again this morning. While he’s doing that, I wanted to show you some pictures from yesterday. And yes, Kelsey pouted right when we arrived. Shocked? I keep hearing from my aunt and mom that this is my payback.

“Enough pictures, mom!”

Kelsey’s Nanni. My mom. Our amazing hostess.

Grandpa got the lights up already.

“I didn’t know where to put my hands,” – Ryan.

There’s that smile! How cute is this H&M dress that Teri bought her?

Perfecting the model “stare & glare”.

“Is she supposed to be jumping from this?” – Spencer

Baby brother, Spence, flew in from Austin!

Colton and I practically ate this entire bowl of sweet potatoes.

The table where we gathered, gave thanks and ate a ton!
