Easter (Saturday) at Church

We worshiped Jesus Christ and celebrated Easter at church last night. Ryan and I were really unsure how to explain the Easter story to our kids. It’s a tough story to repeat, but lucky for us, our church took that job. They came out of church with a tomb they each created and told us all how Jesus rose from the tomb to live. The fact that our children know His love is probably the coolest thing.

After church the kids bounced in the bounce house, pet some goats and indulge in food trucks. I asked them which truck they wanted and they both pointed to the waffle food truck. Can you blame them? Kelsey really wanted to try cotton candy so we obliged. Let’s just say, the kids were less than thrilled about it. That’s a win for us. Here are some photos from our Saturday night.

Happy Easter! He is Risen!
