Happy Holidays! We’re preparing to send out holiday photo cards over here. Are you? Have you decided which company you’re going to go with to create your cards? I have a trusted company I always use but this year I’m mixing it up and trying someone new!

I’ve printed memorable items with Artifact Uprising in the past; 25 square photo cards that I hung in our Starwood marketing office and this personal travel album. I’ve been so happy with the quality of their prints that when I saw they had a holiday photo card collection, I knew I had to try it.

My favorite are the 3-in-1 photo holiday cards. It’s a pretty cool concept. You get to send a greeting card that your recipient can tear into three’s – creating a square photo, a message strip from you and a gift tag. I love the gift tag! The 3-in-1 design also allows you to add a personalized message to the back. See … (candy canes not included, but kind of necessary when addressing 50+ cards).

  1. Steph ~ we are supposed to leave the family tradition on here right?! Okay, so my favorite family holiday tradition is wearing matching Christmas jammies with everyone in my family on Christmas Eve night! (Dad, mom, both brothers, my husband, son and my sister’s family.. Each member added gets in on the fun)! My Grammy started it and used to send them to us all, in the last few years my mom has taken over and done it and I am sure in years to come, my sister and I will be in charge of it!! Love this giveaway! How cute!! Can’t wait to read other family traditions! Xoxo – Maddie

    1. I love that! I especially love that you got your husbands to agree. Ha. Thanks so much for sharing!

  2. I love reading your blog! Since as far back as I can remember, my Grandma would have us over on Christmas Eve. She made the best Green Chile Posole!! With my husbands family, and now moving out of NM, Can’t get time off work, etc, it’s probably been over 5 years since I’ve been able to go. I appreciate this “blog prompt”, because I just decided I’m going to make her Posole at my house on Christmas Eve. This is a tradition that needs to continue!! Thanks Stephanie! Happy Holidays to you and Yours!!

    1. Happy holidays, Kristi! I loved reading this. Posole reminds me of my days growing up in New Mexico. What a great tradition to bring back. Enjoy!!

  3. I love seeing my family and eating great food! We also have an inexpensive, fun gift game that is really lively and kicks off our evening:)

    1. We started doing a gift exchange too! Great idea. Thank you for sharing, Laura. Happy Holidays and Good luck!

  4. Love following your blog! My favorite holiday tradition is my family’s Christmas Eve Open House. We don’t have a big family, so we’ve always made our friends feel like family. We have a big open house for our friends to join us on Christmas Eve every year. Everyone we love stops by and even as a kid it always made me so appreciative of how your friends are your family that you get to choose. We have some amazing memories and photos from a lifetime of holidays together!

    1. Thanks, Ashley! I love the idea of an Open House for all of your neighbors, family & friends. My dad always says, “The more the merrier!” when it comes to Christmas Eve. Thanks for sharing this fun tradition. Good luck!

    1. Good call. Especially all of the family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. Good luck!

  5. I’ve followed Artifact for so long, this would be the perfect chance to actually dive in and print some memories. My fave holiday tradition is a looong Christmas morning brunch and the building anticipation of the gift opening and the rest of the day.

  6. First of all, I had not heard of this company, but wow! What awesome stuff once I checked it out! One of our fave holiday traditions is that on Christmas Eve, the kids open one gift, always Christmas pajamas and a book. They still act surprised! Then, we get in the jammies, make reindeer food, sprinkle it on the lawn, prepare the cookies for Santa, and settle down to hear some stories- Twas the Night Before Christmas and the story of Jesus birth. Then into bed with your new book!

    1. Making reindeer food is the cutest thing I’ve ever heard. Love that. And that you read the story of Jesus’ birth. Good luck!

  7. Every year, we have a family night where we make beeswax candles and then burn them late into the night. We make candles for friends and family (tie together with a ribbon- makes a nice little gift). The rest are for us, we save them up for summer nights in the yard, which is great because it is a neat reminder of the season 🙂

  8. My favorite holiday tradition is that my hubby makes chicken stir fry every Christmas Eve! Then we watch a holiday movie, and let the kids open one gift…and it’s always holiday pajamas!

  9. We let our kids open one present on Christmas Eve. It is always the same present. A new pair of PJ’s, and the latest new movie. Then we make cookies for Santa, they put on their new PJ’s, and we curl up and watch the movie while eating leftover cookies 🙂

  10. I love stopping for mochas and cocoa for our son one clear night in Decrmber and doing the Christmas Lights tour of neighborhoods and houses that go all out. Some ask for food donations so we keep canned goods in the car and drive the town

  11. My favorite is either making Christmas cookies, or watching a movie (usually The Christmas Carol) on Christmas Day. The whole family participates in both.

  12. I love that our family gets together on January 1st. That’s after all of the rush of the Christmas time, and gives a chance to enjoy visiting without rushing somewhere else next.

  13. I just like going to see all the Christmas lights with my family. We try to go every year, although we tend to go to different places each year.

  14. my favorite holiday tradition is the whole family decorating my house they do such a great job helping me put everything up

  15. My favorite holiday tradition is giving out the presents to my family and friends, and then waiting for their surprises when opening theirs!
Thank You for the great giveaway!!

  16. Each year we go to the Kathe Wolfort store and pick out a new family ornament. We actually did that just today. Always a fun time.

  17. My favorite holiday tradition is sometime between Christmas & New Years we sit around the Christmas tree, with only the Christmas lights on, and reminisce about the year. 🙂

  18. Each year one person in my family receives a rutabaga in their stocking! It’s the most coveted gift and signifies you’ve had a special year.
