Nolan has transitioned out of his crib and into a big boy bed. Which makes for really hard evenings for us. He comes into our room throughout the night wanting to sleep in our bed. We have to take turns walking him back to his room in an effort to teach him to stay put throughout the night. It’s an exhausting process when your used to getting sleep. This morning, Nolan woke up extra early so we watched the sunrise and picked flowers from our front yard. It sounds peaceful (and it really was for about 5 minutes) before the door shut on his foot and Ryan told him he couldn’t drink my coffee. These are the moments I treasure though because I know he’ll be a teenager within a blink of an eye.
