Labor Day Weekend3

The kids and Ryan are soaking in every last bit of summer. The pool has finally “cooled off” to a mere 90 degrees … which actually makes it feel refreshing in this AZ heat. I dipped my toes in and then had the hardest time getting out of the pool (it’s what happens when you’re past your due date and don’t have any stomach muscles left to help yourself out). Nolan … ahem … where are you?

How Weekends Should Always Start

I’m pretty sure that every weekend should kick off with a summer pool party with your best pal. Teri is finally back in the United States and I couldn’t be more excited! I think we freaked everyone out at the restaurant when we screamed like … well, girls … when we reunited for the first time in 2014! Naturally, our 3 hour lunch date ended with drinks at my house, poolside. The perfect summer Friday if you ask me.

The Canyon Suites | Final Days of Summer

We spent the final days (ahem, day) of summer poolside at The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician. We had ourselves a little staycation in celebration of my mom’s 59th birthday.

Kelsey loved the private pool, we loved the view of Camelback Mountain and my mom loved the fact that the cabanas came with their very own shower! Little luxuries were at every turn at this beautiful resort.

Watching Colton splish and splash, while overhearing Kelsey pretend that she is Ariel and Ryan is “Prince Eric” was the highlight for me.
