The Travel Hat: A New Kind of Luxury Hotel

If you’re not afraid to stay outside of your comfort zone, then you will love the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills. The hotel is fantastic. I was just in Los Angeles for some marketing meetings and this is where I stayed. Around every corner you see something that makes you go, Was that? Is that? Huh? From stone monkey’s hanging on chandeliers, to elevators that open up and show people already in them (an elevator illusion that confused me to no end). To dark lights and mirrors … everywhere! The hotel felt like luxury, flipped upside down. Phillipe Stark designed this hotel and it’s one-of-a-kind! From the spa, to the pool to the infamous (and amazing) The Bazaar by Jose Andres … you will love it. On a scale of 1 to 5 dollar signs, the hotel is $$$$$. I wouldn’t coin this has a place to bring the kiddos. However, if you want to get away and experience Los Angeles to the fullest, then you should give it a try.
