The Working Mom Hat: W Austin for Work

I attended the W Hotels Global Brand Summit  last week. I got to stay at one of my favorite hotels, W Austin and visit with some of my favorite people. Before I even got my room key, the W Concierge handed me this fancy little treat. I must say, I have no clue what was in it but it was delish!

We went to 2nd Street Grill and talked like grown ups (I swear these two were just 3 and 4 years old). Then, I gifted Sabrina one of my favorite  new bracelets from W Austin, a Burkman Bros bracelet.

The three-day meeting was all about what’s new and next for W Hotels. Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky to work on such an amazing lifestyle brand, such as W. I probably pinched myself once or twice.

I got a glimpse into the future of this brand, and I must say … it’s very bright. I met so many amazing people at this conference. From Paris to Doha to Shanghai.

We didn’t win. In case you were wondering. But, I kind of thought ours was dressed the cutest. Garnish matters, right?

(I saw Miranda Lambert play here a few years back and I have to say, I was a little star struck just being in the room.) W Austin’s Marketing Manager, Shaady, and I just had to sit on stage.

w austin city limitsAustin is such a cool city. If you haven’t been. Go! If you like music, food and weird things, then Austin is right up your alley. Here are some pictures from the last time I was in Austin. And here are some of the Austin Restaurants that I love. What a fun city, indeed.
